Turnip Green Stew

Don’t “turnip” your nose at this stew! Avowed turnip green haters LOVE IT! It passes the Blair likes it you know it's good. I shared this with Donna and she brings it to every single church dinner and brings home an empty pot. And talk about easy? 

Be sure to fix a pan of cornbread or hoecakes!
  • 2 large cans turnip greens
  • 2 cans white beans
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 1 lb. polish sausage
  • 1 chopped onion
In a large pot, sauté onion and polish sausage in a small amount of oil. 

Pour in the rest of the ingredients and heat thoroughly.
