Ham Roll Ups

“How do they taste? They taste like more.”
- H.L. Mencken
These ham roll ups went over really well at the Super Bowl party last night. They are so easy and so flavorful the pickiest eater might not even realize they're eating spinach!

INGREDIENTS:
  • Flat bread
  • Deli ham
  • Swiss or provolone cheese sliced thin
  • Spreadable cream cheese
  • Fresh spinach
  • Ranch salad dressing packet
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, stir until well blended, cream cheese and Ranch salad dressing packet. Spread a good layer of cream cheese mixture onto each piece of flat bread. I usually keep it around ¼ inch from the edges.

Put two to three pieces of ham on top of bread; keeping the meat from running off the sides. Do the same with the cheese.

Spread spinach leaves on top, leaving them at least an inch from the ending edge. If you run the spinach to whole length of the flat bread, it will “squeeze out” as you are rolling them.

Start rolling the sandwich up as tightly as you can. I put a nice “blob” of the cream cheese mixture on the finishing edge to keep the sandwich together.  I prefer to refrigerate these for a couple of hours before I cut them into sections so the cream cheese doesn’t push out as I’m cutting.
