Holiday Green Bean Casserole
With Easter coming up this Sunday, what family dinner with ham would be complete without a green bean casserole? I'm going to save you some time digging out your green bean casserole recipe.
This is one of those dishes everyone rolls their eyes at; but it's funny how it's usually the first dish to become empty!
I wish you and your family a safe holiday!
- 2 cans (1 lb. each) cut green beans, drained*
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can (2.8 oz) French Fried Onions
Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper and 1/2 can French fried onions; pour into a 1-1/2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 mins. more. Makes 6 servings.
*Or 2 packages (9 oz. each) frozen cut green beans, cooked and drained.
