Andy’s Goulash

White bowl filled with corn, hamburger, noodles and sour cream
When you are short on time and have to fix something quick, this dish can be on the table in no time flat! It's quick, easy, and tastes good.

Andy and I disagree on what is considered goulash. I grew up thinking it was this recipe here. His recipe reminds me of beef stroganoff, mine is like a cheesy, tomato-based pasta dish. Either way you go, they're both simple but delicious.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup onions
  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can kernel corn drained
  • 2-3 cups broad egg noodles or other pasta (I usually just use half of the bag)

    DIRECTIONS

    • 1
Cook egg noodles per package directions.
    • 2
In a large skillet brown hamburger and onions and drain.
    • 3
Mix soup, corn, sour cream and noodles. (Season with black pepper)

Pour into meat mixture and heat through.
